Account deletion

Delete your invAIte account

If you created an invAIte account, you can request deletion from inside the app or through this public page. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing deletion so we can protect accounts against fraudulent requests.

Before you request deletion

  • Use the in-app deletion flow if you can access your account.
  • We may require identity verification before completing deletion.
  • Do not email your OTP, verification code, or current PIN.
  • Deleting your account does not automatically cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Delete inside the app

  1. Open invAIte and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to your profile or account settings.
  3. Choose the delete account option and follow the prompts.
  4. Complete any security check we request, such as phone verification, PIN confirmation, or a typed confirmation phrase.

Delete outside the app

If you cannot access the app, email support@invaite.app with:

  • your account phone number;
  • your display name, if you know it;
  • the country or region tied to the account, if relevant; and
  • a short statement that you want your invAIte account deleted.
Do not send your OTP or PIN.

We will never ask you to email a one-time verification code or your current PIN.

What deletion usually does

  • disables or removes account access and related authentication access;
  • deletes or detaches certain profile data;
  • deletes certain user-linked records where operationally appropriate; and
  • anonymizes or de-links some historical records where full removal would break event history or record integrity.

What may still be retained

  • event history needed to preserve guest, RSVP, or coordination integrity;
  • support, moderation, audit, and security records;
  • records kept to comply with law, resolve disputes, or defend legal claims; and
  • backups or residual technical copies that are removed on a delayed cycle.

Timing and important notes

  • We generally aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days.
  • Some residual copies may remain longer where legally required or technically necessary.
  • If you have an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, deleting your invAIte account does not automatically cancel that subscription. You must also cancel through the relevant store interface to stop future renewals.
  • If you were only invited to an event and do not have an invAIte account, use the Privacy Choices page instead of this account-deletion page.
